it may be easy to forget, but it was not too long ago that the end of one of the pioneering web browsers, netscape, came to fruition. its life, marked, on this dirge, as would be marked on its tombstone — Oct. 13, 1994 to Feb. 1, 2008. the decision to shut down made by america online — after letting it atrophy.

Da-Dum

written as a dirge, with matching meter and rhyme to many other popular, to be read slowly, capturing the melancholy felt by many at the time, and repeated — yet hopefully not repeated
